*Defends Waffle by placing a Leaf Shield on him, blocking all projectiles, while I fight against the melee attacks with Galaxia, defeating a few of the foes and holding the others back for Waffle to get through.* *Sends out Lucario, who proceeds to Aura Sphere and Flash Cannon anything that would hurt Waffle.* *Tries to take the Matoran to the end with me, despite it having stopped moving* =P
OoC: Thank you both very much =D

(OoC: All right, got everyone's responses Copied down and ready. Don't think I'll let you by that easy.)
*The torrent of attacks incoming towards Waffleboy is truly stupendous. Fortunately for Waffle, carrying the Matoran and key separately was a smart move - it confuses the targeting systems, causing half of the attacks to aim at the Mannequin instead of Waffle. Unfortunately for Waffle, one such attack was a Cordak Blaster, which fires six explosive rockets rapid-fire. Worse, the unexpected aim causes the first part of its volley to get past Lucario's defences, as it was not anticipating attacks to not be aimed directly at Waffle. Three rounds get through, blowing up the Matoran Mannequin and knocking Lucario and Glubby away and Waffle into the grip of one of the Nui-Jaga. It's tail winds back with a clicking motion, priming to strike at Waffle.
Jimi was unaffected by the blast, as hanging back to be Lucario's trainer left him clear. Unfortunately, it meant that when the Energy Hound Mannequins became active, one was in prime position to penetrate his protection and puncture his posterior with its premolars.
The narrator isn't sure what's worse, the injury or that awful alliteration... :-P *

It is revealed that I had a Speed Shoe capsule packed, and have 2 more for future use.* *I give Waffle a Skull Barrier, making it where he can temporarily reflect all projectiles and destroy all launchers, while I handle the melee attacks with new found fury, destroying all that cross my path with unusual speed.* :-P

*The Hydruka and Muaka both survived the blast, although the Hydruka quickly KO's itself by trying to blast Waffle. However, the Nui-Rama nests begin a fierce buzzing sound as dozens of Nui-Rama emerge and swarm Waffle. Four latch onto him and begin dragging him back in a last-ditch attempt to get him away from the door, while the Muaka tiger readies to pounce upon him. The rest of the Swarm forms a barrier around Waffle in an effort to prevent the others from rescuing him.*

Rushes in, and promptly takes out the 4 carriers Rama, using Flash Stopper to stop the Muaka in its tracks and render it immobile. I promptly drag Waffle to the door, using Concrete Shot to seal the Nui-Rama out of the room, giving Waffle more than enough time to insert the key.* :-P

Ok. I suppose not much more to contribute at this stage) *Mercifully, the door actually opens, the Trial passed fair and square. Everything fades back into the walls and floor. A complex, twisting bridge spans most of the way across the darkness to a shining doorway, a swaying light shining at the end. A pedestal stands at the precipice, and as you approach, more arise bearing devices carrying rotating lightstones, which only brighten when facing the bridge. the edge is Matoran writing reading: "Follow your destiny across the shadows to complete this trial."* The rules for this trial are fairly simple. Find a path across the chasm by following the bridge revealed by the lightstones -*The Narrator interrupts because... the light at the end of the bridge appears to be held by a figure, obscured by the silhouette cast by their lightstone… and they're moving, extending the bridge... That doesn't seem to fit into the challenge presented... ...oh dear.* Anyway, restrictions here are mobility-based. You have to follow the bridge, simple as. Flight and similar mobility skills like gliding or hovering are enabled within a small area around the bridge, but no further than a few metres in any direction from it.

"*Jimi' and Glubby's words echo across the chasm. The figure at the end, notices, turns and stops. They slowly stows away the lightstone, pulls a cylindrical object strapped to their back, and points it towards the entrance. Before opening fire. It seems to be Cordak Blaster shots similar to ones from the challenge before. The first rocket lands at the start, shattering the Lightstone devices, before the rest of the volley hammers into other parts of the bridge, sending chunks of it tumbling into the abyss. After the volley ends, the figure chucks the heavy stone device at Jimi. The Lightstone shards glimmer, shine and reflect each other's light, causing tiny portions of the remaining parts of the bridge to be revealed as the light crosses them, becoming solid in the process, floating impossibly in the gloom. The figure leaps between these shards with supernal agility and makes a leap into the exit. With a flash of reflected light, a blade whips out and slices the wind, causing chunks of rubble to start falling from the ceiling, before the figure races away, out of sight.*
