"Do you think you can beat me!? Well, guess what?" "YOU'RE TOO SLOW!!!"*I immediately counteract the gravity switch with my own Ark, setting me free from the bomb. I then dodge the double blast with another Speed Burst, knowing the move well enough by now to successfully make the evasion. I briefly look behind me, noticing that my copy has foolishly forgotten that the Double Buster overheated the Blue Bomber and nearly destroyed him. Not gifted with the same durability as Mega Man, my copy is destroyed from the move, and I rocket to end with no opposition whatsoever and two opponents defeated.*
*Extends frying pan toward Digi-Jimi like Chef Kawasaki does* =P *With 5 Speed boosts in hand Jimi gives it the gas and rockets down the track. As I near Gamma he uses Psych Up to copy my speed boosts. The both of us catch up to Glubby.*
"Hey there Glubby!"

(OoC: AAAAH I am way too late on this sorry...)
*Digi-Jimi is protected by Digi-Glubby who fires a beam at Waffle in an attempt to have him share his double's fate. Then, as the last clones standing combine as they did in the Hyrule castle RP. The combined form begins blasting desperately at Waffle then spinning to try and blast the real Jimi and Glubby, whilst perched precariously atop Jimi's vehicle*
(OoC: Sorry for such a short entry after the hiatus. There aren't many more doubles to take action I'm afraid...)

*Jimi sends out Rayquaza and Mega Evolves it. Delta Stream kicks up and blows strongly, making it hard for the Digi-Jimi/Gamma Fusion to keep their footing. Gamma gives his stat boosts to Rayquaza, who then rips through the air with an Extreme Speed and knocks all the clones off of their vehicles. Rayquaza then prepares for a Dragon Ascent.*

*Jimi and Gamma continue, with Gamma using Psych Up again to copy Jimi's stats.**Digi-merged-Jimi/Gamma (OoC: whoof long name) is knocked high into the air but through a well-aimed blast of their arm cannon and the launching of a Pokeball they manage to land in Gamma's vehicle - qualifying since they're merged. The Pokeball turned up to be their version of Rayquaza, who also gets Mega Evolved. Blasting their way back to Gamma's vehicle and the original's speed boost has left the fusion quite far behind. Out of options and too far to catch up, they turn to one last, sore loser effort. Digi-Mega Rayquaza makes for a Dragon Ascent and aims it at the spot just before the finish line, intending to smash it up and make finishing impossible. To follow up, Digi-merged-Jimi/Gamma charges up Samus's Zero Laser final smash and sweeps it across the track in an attempt to hit everyone. The narrator comments that this is a pretty sour move, but supposes that this IS a trial.*

( :-D This place isn't dead again, Yay! Sorry for being inactive everywhere else. Christmas, new year, and another gift I just got working (a digital art tablet) has consumed my attention.)
*The Jimi-Gamma is thrown off the track and begins falling as the spectral hands re-emerge, chasing them down. Once they catch him, they throw them back into the air like a horde of predators toying with single bit of prey, several fighting over which one gets to snatch him out of the sky, before one succeds, dragging Digi-Jimi-Gamma, too, into the flames, 'disqualifying' them.
The narrator queries whether such a display was strictly necessary, but decides not to press the issue whilst still narrating in the same room as the hands.
Glubby's crossing the line allows him to enter into the stairway down to the next floor. Here there is another healing altar to recover after the race. However, the way down is not currently accessible. Due to their head start, the figure passed through first, and has blocked the corridor by collapsing the ceiling of the staircase. It was no conspicuous blast either - the edges of the collapsed sections indicate that they were cut smoothly, with an unusually sharp blade. It's quite well-jammed for a single person to get a grip and lift, but it should be easy to shift with a little help.*

With my Ark, I carefully move the slab and set it elsewhere so it doesn't cause more trouble. I then enter the healing chamber and heal, as well as summon some other stuff I want.* :-P

Not... exactly sure what to do with the 'Half done' situation Waffle's in :-P ) *The Narrator is waiting for Waffle to be done with the race so as to avoid the problematic in multiple floors at once. And they would also rather leave the place with the creepy ghost hands. Stuff like that freaks them out.*

A good omen for your chances of success... although possibly also a bad one depending on exactly why the figure's taken so long. The stairs down to the next floor shift into a very rough-made design. Almost as if the walls were carved directly from rock, even though it's still actually built from bricks and blocks - the craftsmanship is phenomenal. As with the previous floors there's some writing inscribed on the walls. The exact language is unknown, but seems vaguely resemble classical Greek.* "The first challenged your virtues, your courage and might, And the second had you prove your will in flight. Now you are here, in the floor dark as night, To challenge those who hunger for your lifelight. Can you dodge those who's hate shines so bright? Can you escape the fates' line of sight?" *A new part of the story is there as well.* "Error: full translation unavailable. Reading from first available section: So, the forces of the zoom, the mekabod, the soul and the pointy-ear collided, and the goopy grew in strength. But then the *error* found this place, and claimed the power within, to smite their foes. Yet, with power arrived not ideal Error translation failed." *The narrator comments that this is rather ominous.*

(Still think Sonic would've escaped, if he hadn't tried to rescue Pikachu.) Fortunately, I happen to have those, so a Galeem redo shouldn't be too bad for me. However, the text also reminds me of the Lightness Black, that good for nothing black hole from Riders: Zero Gravity. This would match the current Babylonian theme.* *Regardless, I proceed, asking the narrator why he's getting so concerned.* :-P

I have assessments taking up a lot of attention and energy. And the last time I tried this is it bugged out. Hopefully won't do it again.) *The narrator dodges the question. As you walk in, your expectations betray you, as you pass a thin red beam without noticing. A small figure with a tiny scythe appears out of nowhere, striking you and subsequently paralysing. This is followed by an upbeat, but terrifying tune as a Reaper from Kid Icarus Uprising charges you down, Scythe at the ready* (OoC: Hey, at least my cryptic messages are on point :-P . The 'lifelight' reference was a red herring. The Fates were the group in Greek mythology which held - and cut - a person's 'lifeline' which I figured was appropriate since Reapers carry souls to the Underworld and have a distinct line of sight. So I mixed the two and threw in a reference to ancient Greek since Kid Icarus is very loosely based on it) A new floor, a new challenge. A good old fashioned Greek labyrinth - with the twist that instead of being patrolled by one monster, it's patrolled by a swarm of antsy Reapers. Hyped up from recent interruptions, they're extra-diligent, and will investigate loud noises or disturbed reapers in the same area, unlike normal. Otherwise, normal Reaper rules - they can only see in a straight line ahead of them but will react violently to intruders. The objective is to find the exit and not get Reaper'd. Limits are related - no advanced stealth (AKA no invisibility or miniaturisation), no teleportation-esque powers and no navigation that reveals the location of the exit (but, again, old fashioned methods like marking your path or drawing a map yourself are OK). Combats all clear, though it'll attract any other Reapers in the room - unless you REALLY make a ruckus, then it might attract more. In short, this is a stealth challenge.
