Happy holidays everyone! Likewise! Anybody receive anything good? I didn't receive any games specifically (you can blame a certain free-to-play game that got ported to Switch recently for that :-P ) but I did receive a number of books about gaming - one a book that's basically a reminder on how to keep good gaming habits and prevent bad ones like never exercising, another about the history of video games (which is frankly fascinating - it's incredible the number of big names from other fields that contributed to the arrival of gaming) and one about some stories from game development. Spoilers: They're all about stress :-P . And, of course, I was visiting family and my Switch was a constant companion on the journeys. I swear, that things a marvel. I also remembered just how... relaxing Breath of the Wild is. I have it for Wii U but I can't play it often. I might double-dip with the Switch version, just because, well, it's THAT good. My birthday is in a few months (It all goes on in Winter for me :-P ) Truly, the game's a masterstroke by Nintendo - I get stressed in the run-up to Christmas as a lot of people do, so I'm glad for that game. (though devil may cry 5 is coming out not long after so that might throw a spanner in the works of that idea) |

The Switch is an amazing Console isn't it? I got BOTW for both Consoles, I never get tired of playing it. (Although the slight differences in the controls and the lack of upgrades took some getting used to at first.) :-P
AND SMASH IS AMAZING!!! I love how fast and flashy everything is! And the Spirits are a much better customization system than the last game. (These aren't spoilers are they?) :-P |

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey is releasing kind of soon, depending on where you live =P (if you live in Japan, it's already released =P)
I don't know if I'll buy it or not, but I hope Dr. Toadley will be replaced with Psycho Kamek, since Psycho Kamek was replaced with Dr. Toadley in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions =P
