It's a Persona 5 meme. The battle theme had a rather quotable line "You'll never see it coming" and people starting laying it over videos as the latest in the long line of 'Goes with everything' memes. Given that this reveal came out of left-field, you could say I never saw it coming. And thus, the memes. Oh, fair. Persona 5 is the most recent game in the 'Persona' series, a spinoff of the Shin Megami Tensei series. You control a teen nicknamed 'Joker' who by day lives a (relatively) normal life of a Japanese high schooler, but by night invades the dreams of evil people in order to battle their inner demons and help stabalise their lives. Or, something along those lines. I'm not 100% sure, never played it myself. |

I got the SNES classic!
Which reminds me: I've GOT to get back to playing FFVI... (AKA FFIII as it's called on SNES Jr.) It's a great game, I highly recommend playing it Henny. |

I got one. I call him SNES Junior because I also have an original, which I named SNES Senior. I do the same with my NESs.
Which reminds me: I've GOT to get back to playing FFVI... (AKA FFIII as it's called on SNES Jr.) It's a great game, I highly recommend playing it Henny. I've played two games so far on it. Super Mario World and Super Mario Kart. Can't wait to play the others! |

ok so do you remember Toon Link's down air attack, Sword Plant?
i was looking through the tips section of Smash Ultimate, going through every move, fighter by fighter, when i saw it.
"unlike Link's and Young Link's down air attack, Toon Link's doesn't bounce up when it hits a foe. if you try to dunk someone with it, you're gonna have a bad time."

Dunking? Bad time? That's too big of a coincidence not to be a reference, probably =P
