Alright! Fun Fact: Charlie actually did receive 3 valentines in the strip's run. :-P Was it about "naturally curly hair girl" :-P Actually, no. Frieda, the girl with naturally curly hair, certainly was nicer to CB than the other girls, but the 3 who sent him the valentines were: 1. Patty: She sent him a cheap valentine, causing CB to recover from the taunts of Violet and Lucy, as both girls said they considered getting him an expensive valentine, but decided it was a waste, while Patty said, "When you're a CB, you don't expect to much." CB was delighted. 2. Violet: Yes, Violet gave him one in a later year. However, it was a used valentine, and delivered in March to avoid guilt. Schroeder was quick to criticize, lecturing her quite well, though CB accepted the valentine. 3. Peppermint Patty: She gave Chuck one to, that said she liked him, but only as a friend. However, she became enraged when CB thought it was from the Little Red Haired Girl, upsetting both her and CB. :-P |
