It was another regular day at the Fan-Club. It had been a month or so after the Hyrule Castle Adventure. Jimi went to check the Fan-Clubs mail, finding the usual junk mail and stuff. There was however one letter that looked different, it had a wax seal with the SSB symbol. Jimi ran back inside. "Hey Everyone! We've got a letter from the SSB!" The Club members urged Jimi to open and read it.
"Dear LaN Fan-Club. You have been invited to enter the 19th Annual SSB Tournament. Chaotic fighting seems to be your thing so we feel you should be right at home here. The Winner of the Tournament will receive a cash prize worth One-Million US Dollars in whatever Currency(s) you choose, and entrance into the SSB Hall of Fame.
We hope you will consider entering.
Signed: Master Hand and Crazy Hand."
"Well what do you think? guys?" *Jimi turns to see Glubby had already started packing the Bus* :-P

I mean, yes, I get it, SOMEBODY has to clean up the leftover power ups from less than 100% runs of Super Metroid, but if I have to pick up one more skipped Screw Attack from a minimalist run, I am going to scream." *I teleport over to Jimi to read over his shoulder*

Either way, can't blame me for missing it. :-P ) "Ooooh, fighting tournament. That should be interesting to say the least." *I quickly pop into the cabinet and grab a sword. It's a modified replica of Jin's Nodachi, converted into a regular katana size and with a sheath.* "As good a time as any to test out this bad boy in the field." *I attach it to my waist and head over to Bubbles's pen.* "Come on boy, let's see if they'll let you be part of my final smash." *Bubbles follows me out, and I hop on his back to ride him there.* |
