So, I don't know how many people will like or really agree with what I'm about to say.

This forum, the forum of columbo was originally planned to be a forum about the old show "Columbo". Because I realized that there wasn't enough people that I know that liked Columbo, and thus I switched the theme of this forum to general, but mostly Nintendo. In fact, I planned for this forum to be a successful general forum (at least for LMBers).

Alas, this forum is dead. Only one thread is active, and even it falls into inactivity quite a lot. As all of you know, this forum is just made up of LMBers, and the reason why I advised everyone originally on the galleries to have the LEGO and Nintendo fan club on this forum, instead of LMBE, was because at the time, I really wanted this forum to also be active. However, now that the only thread which is active is one that is a direct copy of the original thread on LMB, I was thinking maybe we could move to LMBE?

Now, hear me out. We can still chat here, but LMBE is really the sequel to the LMBs (the place where we would be chatting right now if they didn't close it down). Currently I am a Junior Moderator and a Designer on LMBE, and it's getting more and more active with more people returning. In fact, we just released an amazing replica of the LMB Theme, and moderation is actually most of the time really fast (When I'm online, I usually approve the post within a few minutes )! Also, we're about to have a vote because we're changing LMBE's name, and I'm hosting the Write Like a Ninja contest, a ninjago theme writing contest!

Anyway, I don't know how to explain myself fully, but I just really think that this site isn't much. There's no reason it should be kept alive for one semi-active thread, and a small group of five people from the LMBs. I'm not going to close this forum. I just feel that maybe the LEGO and Nintendo Fan Club would be more suitable on the replacement to the LMBs. Of course, I understand if you don't like LMBE for whatever reason (I'd recommend giving it one more chance tho, since some things have changed. We're a bit more lenient with posts. Moderation is usually very fast. Quark is now the head admin, and she's doing a good job imo.) Yeah, I've just sort of really started liking LMBE again, and because of how similar it is to the LMBs (the whole theme and environment), I think that not only would it be more fun to chat on there, but it would also bring more success to the LEGO and Nintendo Fan Club, because there's a lot more users on LMBE than there is on here. Thus we'd have more members than we have now, and it would probably be more active, and perhaps more enjoyable. I'm sorry if this came as a surprise, or if you don't agree with me on this. If you do agree with me, I think we should start a new LEGO and Nintendo fan club thread on there (since the current one is inactive and was made by evilezra, an inactive guest account). Maybe we could call it the Super LEGO and Nintendo Fan club? Maybe we could even roleplay there too?

I do understand why you would feel this way. I also might post on the other site sometimes to. However, for the general operations of our group, I actually really like it here. 

For one thing, the LMBE has a history of intense power struggles in the staff. I will admit that Quark has held the head position for a while now without incident, but it seems that staff there fight more frequently than I'd like to admit. Furthermore, we wouldn't have as much control on what we do and when. 

I also like being able to have a slow tempo here. One reason I more frequently come here than LMBE is because I usually need a quick pace to keep up over there, which I don't like to do, as there are other things I might want to do. Here, I can simply come on at my leisure, and chat with my friends. While I will admit it is often slow, the relaxing pace is something I like, though I do have a bad habit of going inactive. 

Another thing is that actually playing with one another would be very difficult on LMBE. If I recall correctly, there is a stiff rule on LMB sites blocking codes for systems outside of LMBE. That would prevent us from being to play online with one another, such as the risk of a code for a Smash Arena or Mario Kart tournament being rejected. Furthermore, the moderation system there would make it tough to actually schedule an event, as without a mod online, we can't communicate for our events. 

Overall, having a sub-board there could be fun, but I'd actually like to keep our main activity here, if that's alright. ;-)

Well, most are on LMBE/TBB now, I think.
