I checked and it's been a really long time since I made an overly long boss analysis, so let's do another one =P
{Spoilers for Super Kirby Clash and also Kirby Star Allies}Okay so I had another Dedede analysis / essay ready but now I can't find it so let's talk about Galacta Knight / Aeon Hero instead. It's implied he was one of the four heroes who sealed Void Termina, if his heart spear version of his sword beam barrage is any indication. He's known as Aeon Hero in Super Kirby Clash. An aeon can mean life, a period of time, or timeless / for eternity. Several of his pause screen texts also mention time. (Also, technically, Hyness also used a variation of the heart spears in one of his attacks, but Hyness's heart spears resembled needles more than spears, while Aeon Hero / Galacta Knight's were the spears as shown in the opening of Star Allies and Heroes in Another Dimension.)

I got back into Acnl recently, and I'm really loving it again! :-D If anyone has it and wants to come to my town or vice versa, we could set something up. :-P

Anybody here been enjoying Luigi's Mansion 3? Truly a great game. i'm so behind on games lol. I'm waiting for Pokemon Sword and Shield next week and ACNH next year, but I want other games too, like Luigi's Mansion 3 and Legend of Zelda the remake thing. :-P Hopefully I'll get Pokemon Sword when it comes out though. :-D Hype!

With the Game Awards nominees out, it's time for everyone to argue about what should win. :-P
While I rage about how Luigi's Mansion 3 didn't get nominated for Art Design, everyone else can discuss the possibility of Smash winning Best Fighting Game and Game of the Year. This means everyone will likely speculate Fighters Pass Fighter 5 will be announced at the awards, seeing as Joker was last year. :-P

Review: Luigi's Mansion 3
So good, it's scary
We all know how I feel about Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. It happens to be one of my favorite handheld titles ever, and I still play it sometimes. Because of this, I was thrilled at the prospect of a new Luigi's Mansion on the Switch. My expectations were high, and the game didn't fail me. This game is a masterpiece, and Next Level Games proved they've still got what it takes.
The story is pretty basic, Luigi and co have been deceived once again by a villain and King Boo is out for revenge. Luigi and Polterpup are the only ones who escape the trap, and the green guy must once again gain the courage to put these spooks in their place, armed with yet another Poltergust model and a mighty ally in the form of Gooigi.
Of note is that this review is based off my time in co-op play, I was the Gooigi for the person I was playing with: My mom. The two of us were a fine team, so I can safely say that you shouldn't have any complaints in co-op unless your partner is a troll and makes the camera pan out to mess you up or something. (Thankfully, my mom isn't a troll, so this wasn't an issue.)
Luigi and Gooigi handle a bit strangely, you may need some time to adjust to aiming plungers and suction. However, the system isn't unfair, and the beginning is simple enough to adjust before a game over screen shows up. The controls are also tight, so you don't have to worry about using the wrong move with a button.
One of the major items of the game were its special themed floors. Each floor is designed beautifully, with an eye for detail and a usually good boss at the end. (Exceptions exist.) However, Basement 2 is a nightmare, the traps are straight up nasty and it throws odd controls at you with mines everywhere. I also had negative memories of floors 7 and 10, but otherwise, all the other floors were a blast.
The bosses were marvelous. Each boss generally felt decently climatic, save the first two, for obvious reasons. They mostly fought fair (Sorry Basement 2 and Floor 7.) for bosses, and had some creative mechanics thrown in as well. The bosses generally had fun personalities as well, though a few were dull. (Floor 9.) However, that one exception is more than made up for by many of the others. Of particular note for me were the bosses of floors 11 and 12. While floor 12 pitted you against an extremely powerful foe that unleashed a truly epic fight and great design, floor 11's bosses (I make that plural for good reason.) had entertaining personalities that made the clips on that floor really fun, such as when one accidentally steals Luigi's hat.
Collecting items is a challenge, but actually pretty fun. I should mention that me and my mom collected all Boos, gems, and had enough cash for the best ending, so I can say we got everything. The gems were mostly fun to look for, though a few were rage-inducing to look for. These were few, though, and the Boos were always great to look for. Cash was littered everywhere, and it was satisfying to collect as much as possible.
In short, this game is awesome. It can be a bit annoying to be Gooigi and have the screen move and dissolve you, and Basement 2 is horrible, but those are my only major complaints. If you liked either of the past games or are curious about the series, pick this up when you can. If neither of the former apply to you, well, I still recommend you give it a chance. Luigi may not be as famous as his bro, but he's the better bro in my book, and that's saying something.
