It's going to take place in the ancient times of Pokemon and will hopefully feature many pokemon which are new because they became extinct. The humans will of course be intelligent. Not like cavemen... I hope I'll finish it eventually. I haven't done much with it so far. I think I'll make it look Gen 5 styled, and give it a nice story as well.  Right now it's called "Pokemon Amber", as Amber is a stone which has to do with fossils which relates to ancient times, and Amber is also a color. I'm making it actually with HTML, CSS, and JS (no libraries or canvas) rn. If I need some more things in the future like Canvas or Jquery, I might bring it in. I'm also planning for it to be on a website which uses local storage to save information, as it would probably be more convenient than having to download it. Only problem I have at this point is that I can't draw sprites, so I gotta find someone to do that preferably for free because I have no money. I think I know how to program most of the features in a pokemon game, especially the battles, and if I don't know something, I'll learn it as I go. If you want more details I could provide them. Will it have all the old fossil pokemon?  I would offer some assistance, but I doubt my skill would be any better than yours. I have a question: how far is it in development? It will most likely have all the old fossil pokemon as long as I find a 2d sprite of Tyrantrum and the other ones on X and Y. It honestly isn't very far at all. :-P It's almost finished with the introduction with the professor, but now that I'm off I have much more free time so I'll be able to work on it a lot. Also, I plan on making it that in the post game you either go to the future (maybe during the times of AZ, the present day of Pokemon, or even farther into the future). I'll see how that goes when or if I get there. :-P |

Actually Ancient Genesect was going to be like my equivalent to the box art legendary. It's a good idea. Maybe by that time Hoenn will actually have one.  Where is their tech at? Like in Arceus and Jewel of Life? Or is being based off of real life? Like Ancient Greece or something? I'm honestly not so sure yet. :-P |

Are there people who want to use it to conquer the Mediterranean or something? Where is their tech at? Like in Arceus and Jewel of Life? Or is being based off of real life? Like Ancient Greece or something? I'm honestly not so sure yet. |

With a play time of 35:XX in Let's Go Pikachu I have claimed the title of Champion and caught all 151 Pokemon. (I know there's still Meltan and Melmetal but I don't have a phone to play GO so I can't catch 'em.)
If you care, the team I used against the E4 was Charizard, Mew, Raichu (Alolan), Venusaur, Veporeon, and Sandslash. I stopped using my starter because... well, I wanted Alolan Raichu as my Electric type. When I got to Fuchsia and saw Pikachu playing with the Growlithe and Vulpix and that it couldn't even keep up with them I lost all guilt about not using him anymore. Clearly Pikachu wasn't fit for action so he'll just stay on my shoulder as my HM user.
At first I wasn't a fan of these games and I especially disliked not being able to battle wild Pokemon. I hadn't played them since January (if I remember right) and only got back into playing it because I saw someone playing it with some extra rules. Now I couldn't do that, but it got me interested in these games, so I started up my Let's Go Pikachu and continued where I left off, which was just after saving Bill.
Most of the game I played with my li'l brother Blue until near the end when I was so powerful I was 1HKOing everything. I could've managed without his help, but I had played through this same-ish story 4 times before in LeafGreen, Yellow, FireRed, and VC Red, and Blue liked to play with me.
BTW we have changed our Switch usernames to Red Chaos and Blu Shadow for now. Every time he loses a splatfest he gets upset and changes his name for whatever reason, so I did too. Speaking of Pokemon Splatfests, we've all picked team Chaos. I'm REALLY interested to see what happens with Splatoon3 or whatever.
So now I don't know if I should Shiny Hunt in Let's Go Pikachu or finish playing UltraMoon... And if I shiny hunt which Pokemon do I try to catch? :-P
Also, this thing with National Pokemon not being in SwSh... Looks like a mess! I wanna see what comes out of this. Personally I don't like it having completed the National Dex in X and OR. That's ALL 721 Pokemon from that Generation. I would be okay with Pokemon games not having all the Pokemon if we got something where we can use all our Pokemon to battle and trade, and that would be updated with the new stuff that we get every time a new game comes out so that every game will still be relevant. (The last two generations especially have been bad for this, but it's been going on for a while now.) This could be what Pokemon Home is, but we don't know for sure. (Regardless of the lack of Pokemon, I've heard there are floating walls and N64 era trees, which I'm pretty sure isn't a good thing. :-P )
That sure was a long post. Oh well. :-P
