I’m going to go ahead and choose a few characters I want to see for SSBU from existing universes. (In random order.)

Splatoon: Octoling
You saw this coming! Since there playable debut in July, many people have chosen these charming characters over the somewhat less special inklings. Considering that the Inkling/octoling splatfest had the octos gain a point for popularity, means that many people like them. I did see someone point out something about them, if they had the same colour ink as the Inklings, wouldn’t it be confusing to know whose ink is whose? The best way I can see to get around this is to make the Octoling’s ink all sparkly. 

Star fox: Leon.
This isn’t one I REALLY want, but it’s the one I want most if there should be a new star fox character. The only SF character I see people request is Slippy. Though it would be funny to see him set himself on fire, it wouldn’t be fair on Wolf. Thier is already two members of team star fox, so another star wolf member instead would balance things out. Why Leon though? Out of all of the star wolf members who originated from star fox 64, he is the only one who stayed loyal to the team. He also is known to chase Falco, who has been playable in smash since melee. It would be cool to think he has been spying on him ever since he joined the fight. As for his moveset, it could be slight variations on Wolf’s moveset.

Mario: Dry bowser.
With all the possible new echos they could add, this is one I most likely think they would add. He could be a less powerful and more fragile bowser, who has to rely on combos to win. They could make bowser bomb have far less KO power, but less endlag, his fire breath blue, his whirling fortress slighly better and change his side special to Koopa Klaw. Dry bowser has been used in Mario games to show a major threat or challenge to the player, and would look awesome fighting other characters. his final smash could even be Giga dry bowser!

Kirby: Dark matter.
I know it’s not BWD or Magolor and pretty unlikely to be included, but it’s a cool idea I came up with. It could take the appearance of it’s first form from KD2, but with added feet. it could have a based around it’s sword and it’s true form. Dark matter hasn’t properly been seen for a while and is one of the kirby fandoms most loved villains. The main problem I can see with it is it being another sword user. :-P

I would say more about Skull kid, but it’s getting late. I’ll just say I want one of his taunts to be him spanking his own bum, like in a scene from Majora’s mask. :-P

Has anyone here heard about “Nutto”?

IF STEVE FROM MINECRAFT GETS INTO SUPER SMASH BROS ULTIMATE THEN I AM NOT BUYING THE GAME.

It was more of a joke of how much I dislike the idea and how I don’t think he’ll get in.

It’s not that I don’t like minecraft. I respect it very much. If it wasn’t for the fact that I would have to get my laptop out every time I wanted to play it and my that my list of games to play is so big then I would play it more often.

I don’t think he will be in smash because he might not be able to have a good moveset. What is he going to attack with? His pick axe? Not only that, but his animations. If he were to keep his original animation style then he might look like a dodgy mr. game & watch, if he used a more realistic/fluid style then it would look too much like minecraft story mode, which could be annoying to some minecraft fans.

Another thing to note if the minecraft is a 3rd party franchise. Minecraft did get a super mario mash up pack, but that doesn’t always mean that it will get a smash representative. Also, since we might only get one more 3rd party, two more at a stretch, which look like Rayman and Banjo and Kajooie (probably spelled that wrong.) seem like the most popular right now, minecraft will probably be left in the dirt.

If anything from minecraft were to get in, it would be either an assist trophy, a regular trophy, or an enemy. A fighter seems a little too much to “wish” for.
