Glubby Shadow Queen JimiRedXD001 lego1999boyathome Ciblast So, I've decided to create a Miiverse Theme. It will hopefully look very similar and feel similar to the original Miiverse, however will of course be moderated and will have this amazing community! :-D I wanted to know how you'd all feel about something: So, the nintendo themes (Legend of Zelda BOTW, Metroid Theme of Samus, MKF4 Theme, Pokemon Master Edition, and Super Mario) we have now are all amazing. I want to know if you would be upset if we designed these theme's designs into the Zelda Board, the Metroid Board, the Kirby Board, the Pokemon Boards, and the Mario Board of the Miiverse theme, and get rid of them on the themes list in the edit profile. Basically what I mean is that you'll for example only see this design: on this board: forumofcolumbo.boards.net/board/20/super-marioAnd you'll only see this design: on this board: forumofcolumbo.boards.net/board/21/legend-zeldaI'll give you a list of pros to this change: 1. It will give the staff more room to design more awesome themes! :-D 2. This website is a general forum, and to have most of our themes based on Nintendo isn't very general. 3. You'll be able to experience all of the nintendo themes in one theme, so you don't have to choose only one of them when you like others too! Please tell me as soon as possible if you agree that we should do this, or you disagree! :-D

Probably unnecessary and completely unprecedented LaNF history The original Lego and Nintendo Fanclub topic was created by Glubby in March 2016, sometime near the beginning of the month. The group was founded by Glubby, Attackpuppy, and myself. Glubby initially joined the LMBs on April 11, 2012. At the time of closure, he had 3,203 posts and 5158 likes received. Attackpuppy initially joined the LMBs on December 2, 2014. At the time of closure, he had 1324 posts and 1583 likes received. Before the Fanclub was created, I first met Glubby at a Ninjago quiz topic he created, back when his avatar was a magician (or something), and Attackpuppy at a Jurassic World Christmas topic. I didn't specifically try to befriend them then, despite the fact that they were both friendly and nice. I was weird for the first year or two so I guess that makes sense? A few weeks or so before the LaNF was created, I started making Zelda references everywhere because I'm kind of crazy that way, but eventually Glubby noticed and pointed it out, mentioning that he liked Nintendo. Attackpuppy replied to Glubby's post with, "Dude, Zelda is AWESOME," or something similar. This led Glubby to make a topic in the Video Games Forum called "The Lego and Nintendo Fanclub!" (I forgot what the original formatting was). After this, several users joined, although Attackpuppy left shortly after its creation, on March 16, due to having to ride a bicycle over a large distance, with the possibility that he might not survive it. Since he never logged back on, it is possible. Notable users to have joined were: - Glubby (creator & co-founder)
- Attackpuppy (co-founder)
- WaffleBoy8008 (technically a co-founder)
- lego1999boyathome
- Starwar4848 (I think he was made a co-founder after Attackpuppy left?)
- Spiderboy614
- Ash3D
- Henny4315
- Ciblast
- JimiFurno (actually I don't remember if he joined before we moved to the Galleries) (I think he did though)
And others. At the time of the LMBs ending, Attackpuppy and Starwar were inactive, resulting in them not moving on to the LMBE or the Galleries or here. Shortly before the LMBs closed, Glubby made a backup Lego and Nintendo Fanclub on the Lego General Galleries. This backup was accompanied by an LAN RP created by Ciblast. Eventually the main LaNF got so long it wouldn't load properly, so the Super Lego and Nintendo Fanclub was created by Jimifurno. A few months later, during a wave of spam and near the end of the Galleries, the SLaNF was locked, presumably reported by the spammer, Aeronautic. During the Gallery period, Glubby stopped using his main account, instead opting to replace it with his Metaknightfan4 account (despite the fact that he wasn't actually banned or anything), which he would then use to take over the world on the LMB Eternal, alongside his normal Glubby account there. After several stops and errors in moderation, the Gallery finally closed down, resulting in the loss of two more LaNFs. The creation of more LaNFs was planned, and they probably would have been created if the Gallery lasted longer. It was a fanclub dedicated to Nintendo (somehow I feel like the "Lego" in the title was only so it would be accepted), so naturally we had Mario Kart tournaments and stuff. Not in real life of course, just roleplayed in the main topic. A Lego and Nintendo RP existed in the Video Games Forum, I think it was created by Ciblast or Glubby. It was mostly simple, with no specific roster of characters and no forced plot. It inevitably lost all sense and logic a few pages in, to the point where we were all attacking each other rather than doing anything to progress our sub-plots. {Spoiler} And that's the main history of the LaNF (with the order kind of weird). I almost definitely got something wrong there, but the LMB Wiki I'm using has nothing about the Fanclub, so I had to go off my memory, which is bad. On the other hand, it has the join date, post count, and like count of every user, so that's pretty good.
NOTE: The un-spoilered thing of text is, mainly, from my memory, but should still be kept for historical reference maybe. If anyone has anything they'd like to add, please do so. And finally, if it's too big and should be its own topic, please let me Ctrl + C it so I can move it.
Thank you! =D

But then the people who like the unpopular themes will lose out. But if the theme is unpopular, then not a lot of people will be using it. But even if one person is using it, they'll lose out. I don't want anyone to lose out. Also, new users might like the unpopular themes in the future.

They made a short trailer for the online tournament for mario tennis aces. In it, they showed gameplay of a yet unannounced playable character, Spike! :-D

Thank you! =D Man, I forgot some of this. It took me like, 3 attempts to get the LaN Fanclub through moderation on the LMBs. :-P The back-up on the Galleries was much smoother. :-P Our roleplay also went well. (At the end, we were more active than the Munch Munch Cafe, which had dominated the video-games forum for years.) P.S. The quote you said that I picked up on at the Jurassic World RP was "It's dangerous to go alone." And then it all began. :-P

Man, I forgot some of this. It took me like, 3 attempts to get the LaN Fanclub through moderation on the LMBs. The back-up on the Galleries was much smoother. Our roleplay also went well. (At the end, we were more active than the Munch Munch Cafe, which had dominated the video-games forum for years.) P.S. The quote you said that I picked up on at the Jurassic World RP was "It's dangerous to go alone." And then it all began. I'm so glad I said that =D My life would be so dull without all you guys =) Why is it whenever we have a touching moment about how much this place means to us we end up abandoning it for a few days :-P

*That moment when you learn that Kingdom Hearts failed to outsell the Mario and Sonic series.* *That moment when this kind of stuff has ceased to surprise you and you just go about your business with 'The Sound of Silence' echoing in your head*
