If you name Link "Linebeck" in Phantom Hourglass, one of the actual character named Linebeck's lines will come out as
"What's your name, kid? Linebeck? That's a weird name. The name's Linebeck! I'm a true man of the sea!"
It isn't a special reaction, and is scripted dialogue that appears no matter what Link's name is. This version is just hilariously ironic, due to the fact that Linebeck simultaneously thinks your name is weird and that his is better, despite you both having the same name.
If you have a copy of Phantom Hourglass, I recommend you try this if you want a laugh or something =P

If you name yourself “ness is bright” in OOT you fight someone named “Dark ness is bright” If you name yourself Donkey in BOTW then Zelda says “How did you give yourself a nickname? This is the only game where you can’t name yourself anything because we decided to get voice acting which doesn’t really add anything!” Oh dang, shots fired at Nintendo! I liked the voice acting, actually. I thought the actors did a fine job. |

It's not the best I've heard, but it helps make the experience feel a bit more real. Which was nice, considering that immersion seems to be a thing they were going for. I mean things behave... kind of like real life. More than most video games set in fantasy worlds anyway. |

I liked the voice acting, actually. I thought the actors did a fine job. Likewise. It's not the best I've heard, but it helps make the experience feel a bit more real. Which was nice, considering that immersion seems to be a thing they were going for. I mean things behave... kind of like real life. More than most video games set in fantasy worlds anyway.
I recommend naming yourself 'Hey You' In Red, Blue, Yellow, FireRed, or LeafGreen. :-P Professor Oak says some pretty funny things. :-P |

{Another random thing with very major spoilers for Spirit Tracks and TTYD} I recently started playing Spirit Tracks again, and I noticed how similar Malladus's situation is to the Shadow Queen's.
For instance:
- Both were sealed away prior to the events of the game
- Both required a vessel in order to be revived
- Both vessels also happen to be princesses
- For both, there was a character that wanted their power, who was promptly severely injured
- This character also fought the heroes shortly before the resurrection
- The aforementioned princesses also aided the heroes in the final boss fights
- Both are also royalty among their species, and are addressed as such by one of the characters Or this may be completely coincidental, and the theme is just a generic one that Nintendo likes to use =S
