So. Well. My theories have been further boggled. Evidence continues to mount that the Xenoblades share a universe like the Zelda games but yet it further confuses me. The confounding element this time is the land of Morytha. To be precise, the architect(heh)ure. It's eerily similar to NLA's architecture in design and use of large amounts of plate metal skyscrapers. It looks like a completed NLA. The question is, why are there no familiar structures? Could be the humans spread and this is a different city built after NLA. But what about those mysterious creatures then, the Guldos? I've got a very dark theory. They're Blades. Wait, that's confusing... lemme rephrase it. They're B.L.A.D.E.S. As in the Mimeosomes of the people that lived in NLA. It's likely that the Genetic sequences of humanity survived the Lifehold's damage, just not the memories of the people it contained. But the Mims didn't smash, remember? What if they can't? My theory suggests that long after Organic humanity was reborn, all the characters in X were still kicking around. Eventually, some great disaster befell Morytha, possibly to do with the Architect creating Blades and Titans from the ether - the blood of the Bionis, of Zanza mind you, and that had a severe negative reaction on the Mimeosomes, causing the Miranium and Ether which over time got added into their mechanical makeups and organic components to react poorly into grotesque, half-formed Titan/Blade hybrids, which rampaged. Far beyond the scope of normal, squishy humanity to stop, they retreated up the newly created world tree into Elysium, having to abandon much of the tech that had defined them, and carried them to this world in the first place. The Guldos remained behind, attacking any organic life, any indigens, that threatened their slowly crumbling city. Sadly, this is further supported by that card you find on the boss. After Elma's physical body smashes, she inexplicably awakens in her Mim - because her Mim can't smash like the rest of them. As for who the architect is, well, the current contender is back to being Alvis. Alvis is known to have a habit of incarnating himself, so it's quite possible he decided that it was time to act and took human form, possibly even from the lifehold, to accelerate the release of the ether from Mira, recreating the world anew into the state it is today. That might explain why he cast humanity out of Elysium. Alvis hates stagnation, so he forced a change each time it came anywhere close to starting.
